    Amarnath  yatra : Shiva is a living god. The  majority sacred and most early book of India, the Rig Veda describes his existence in its hymns, Vedic legends, rituals and even show to his being from the first light of time. Myth has it that Lord Shiva recounted to Parvati the secret of creation in a cave in Amarnath. unheard of to them, a pair of doves eavesdropped on this talk and having learnt the secret, are reborn again and again, and have made the cave their everlasting residence. According to the rhyme Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram, the life is described as having three facets Truth (Satyam), Good (Shivam) and the Beautiful (Sundaram). According to the older scriptures, He has three places of His abode. One is Kailash Parvat another is Lohit Giri under which Brahamputra flows and third is Muzwan Parva. The Cave which was chosen by Bhole Shankar for narrating the secrets of immortality and formation of Universe to Maa Parvati ji. Maa Parvati insisted that she may be told that secret. For long Shiva ji continued postponing. Finally on consistent demand from Maa Parvati He made up his mind to tell the immortal secret. He started for lonely place where no living being could listen it. He chose Amarnath Cave.  In Amarnath Yatra ,The Holy Cave, situated at 14000 ft. above sea level, The annual amaranth yatra to Holy Amarnath Cave is organised by the Jammu & Kashmir State Government during the month of July and August. The intending pilgrims are allowed to perform darshan from Ashard Purnimashi to Shravan Purnimashi which course spreads over a month or so.

The Amarnath Yatra pilgrims are permitted to perform darshan from Ashard Purnimashi to Shravan Purnimashi which way spreads over a month or so. With a vision to work out and finalize different provision, a sequence of core meetings is held at Srinagar as well as Pahalgam, the base-camp for Amarnath Yatra.  J&K Tourist offices located outside the State, are asked to start advance registration for amaranth yatra  on first come first serve basis, within a stipulated period and thereafter. Current amaranth  registration' of yatris is done by the Tourist offices within the State which continues till end of yatra. The detailed information with regard to amaranth Yatra, including other related issues like Do's and Don'ts, installation of free langers by NGOs is publicised by the Tourism Department in leading national dailies as well as local news papers. However the intending for registration for amaranth yatra ,Yatris can have the detailed information in the form of printed material at all the Tourism Offices.      Gulmarg tourism in Jammu & Kashmir: Gulmarg is situated in  Baramulla District of Jammu and Kashmir.    Gulmarg  has the utmost green golf course in the world, at an height of 2,650 metre  and is the country's first ski resort in the winter.The most tourist spot of the area is Khilanmarg, from where the Kashmir Valley and the Himalayan Range is noticeable. Another well-liked spot is Alpather lagoon, positioned at the foot of the double peaks of Apharwat; and leftovers iced up till late June.               The closest airport is  Srinagar airport, which is 57 km to Gulmarg. The airport now includes an better runway, great operational facilities. The finest time to vacation Gulmarg for seeing the sights is between May and September. The best time for skiing and extra winter games, is from November to February. Once you have reached at the Srinagar Airport, the best way to get into Gulmarg is by taxi. You could also look into getting a shared taxi from the airport to the city of Gulmarg, as this will be even more cost effective. Gulmarg main road is circular one with total length of 5 kms. Cable car takes to places: Kungdoor and Aparwath. Nearest railway station  to Gulmarg is Jammu. Jammu is linked by rail to various cities in India specially direct trains are available from northern cities. Visitors can take trains from Delhi (Jammu Rajdhani), Kolkata (Himgir Exp), Mumbai (Swarak Exp), Chennai (Andaman Exp) and even from the the southern most Trivandrum Railway station (Himsagar Exp).

Mata Vaishno Devi yatra inside the Holy Shrine are in the form of three “Pindias”. You cannot find any statues, photos or idols inside the shrine. On the way from Katra to holy cave and on the road to Bhawan, there are numbers of Picture elaborating the path of Darshans to the Holy Cave. How to visit Vaishno Devi

The Jammu airport is nearest one for Vaishno Devi Yatra that situated about 48 kilometer from Katra. Jammu railway station is nearest rail link to Katra Vaishno Devi. A number of regular buses are there for katra from Jammu and the distance is around 52 Km. From Katra, it is a 13 km hill height road walk will be cover by different mode of transportations. You can hire a horse or be carried up by sabari from Katra. You can visit up to the cave and return to Katra in one day. Time to climb up is about 4 hours and to get down it will take 3 hours. Pilgrims must receive a Yatra-parchi from the tourist reception counter near the Katra bus stand for a pass to “Ban Ganga”.

Katra Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the holy Hindu temples in India, is located at an altitude of 1700 metre on Trikuta Parbata,at  Katra town.  Katra is located at a far away of 46 kilometer from Jammu. The temple located on a cave shrine devoted to the Hindu Goddess, Vaishno Devi  chanted as “jai mata di”. The cave having   30 m in length (approx.) and 1.5 metre in height. The main attractions of the Mata Vaishno Devi are the idols depicting the three looks of Vaishno Devi, mainly Mahakali; the  goddess of time and death, Mahasaraswati; the goddess of awareness, and Mahalakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and luck.

A number of Piligrimage who journey here year after year to pay tribute apart from their  belief, faith, caste or creed, for Mata Vaishno Devi transcends of their barriers. As per mythlogical belief, in Mata vaishno devi story, before 700 years , Mata Vaishno Devi is a follower of Lord Vishnu, worship to Lord Rama and vow to attach with him. On arriving at the original Cave at Darbar, mata vaishno devi changed to  the form of Maha Kali and detach Bhairon Nath's head which was throwed to the mountain by blowing and fell at the loation where the Bhairon Temple is now situated. The stone at the entry point of the Holy Cave according to the tale is that horrified upper body of Bhairon Nath who was arranged heavenly forgiveness by the loving Mata in his last moments.

The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is the official board of the Mata Vaishno Devi temple which is responsible for the governance and maintains of the temple. It is popularly known as the Shrine Board. The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was started in August 1986 under the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir “Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Act”. The primepurpose of the act was to make availabletheimproved management and domination of the Holy Mata Vaishno Devi Templeand its donationcounting the associated lands and constructions. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has been given the responsibility of maintaining this temple. Eight million piligrimage (approx.) from around the country tour to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple on an annually. The Governor of the state of Jammu and Kashmir  is the ex-officio Chairman of the Board. He appointed nine members in the Board for the strategy making level. The Board discharges its responsiblity through a Chief Executive Officer who is helped by the Addl. Chief Executive Officer and different Area chief and professional Head.
